Welcome to my monthly updates! I hope you can learn a little bit more about the work that I am doing while I study at Antioch University Seattle.

Next Steps:
Here’s to another quarter done!
Personal Life:
Most of you know that in April I had to make an emergency move to a new apartment unit. I am happy I took that decision and have started to see improvement in my sleep. I still get startled when I hear a knock, but I feel much better than I did a few months ago.
Last time, I mentioned trying out some martial arts classes! I really enjoyed a lot of them, but they are a bit pricey for my budget right now and I know that I will not have time for it when I start seeing clients in the Fall.
Anyhow, I am finally in a state of mind where I can start focusing on my own projects and self-care.
Antioch University Seattle:
Well, I survived the third quarter of my doctorate! And I have a ton of ideas for a dissertation topic, so now to think about which professors and professionals I want to choose for supporting me through this project.
This semester wasn’t too bad academically, but it had its challenges in writing in a way that I was not familiar with. The only issue with this quarter is that there was a lot of tension in the cohort. It is partially a result of a class known as “Cultural Competency & Humility.” Talking about privilege and our social location is a tedious task and sadly for one individual, they were not able to recognize the impact of their words until it hurt a lot of people, specifically people of color.
We have a unique task as psychologists to grow from these experiences and work together to repair these relationships so that we can learn how to do this out in the field.
I finally get to rest peacefully during this school break, so I am going to go sleep right now!
Special Projects:
Bran Diego Photos – Updating pictures like always!
BachStreetBoi – Well I finally got the chance to start creating gaming content! I am posting on YouTube, Tiktok, and I have been streaming on Twitch lately. I also recently got sponsored, so I am excited to be earning money! This week, I will be starting some of my drawing content, so I am excited to get my store opened up soon.
AnxieTea Podcast – The third episode was sadly delayed since my guest speakers had to deal with graduation and have been traveling before going back to school or looking for work.
Instructions Unclear – Delayed till post-grad.
The PsyDream Vlog – I completely forgot to record episodes, so I will add this to my calendar to make sure I record content.
Cycologist – I am almost finished with my volunteer hours, so I will be starting to create content for this channel!
