Colleges Against Cancer (2018-2019)
American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities.

Future Clinicians Association (FCA; 2022-Present)
The Future Clinicians Association is an active group of students who are looking to provide other students with a further understanding of various clinical opportunities via mentorships, workshops, speakers, and events. FCA was created as a response to the desire for representation in the clinical psychology field and is intended for undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD career paths.

Ignatians (2018-2020)
Ignatian refers to a Catholic spirituality and educational approach based on the life of Ignatius of Loyola, a 16th-century Spanish saint. Ignatius of Loyola founded the Jesuit order, also known as the Society of Jesus. Primarily a youth prayer group that meets to pray or discuss the bible

Minority Association of Pre-Med Students (MAPS; 2019-2021)
The purpose of MAPS is to provide underrepresented pre-medical students with knowledge and skills about professional involvement in the field of health care. The goal of the organization is to help improve minority student matriculation into all professional health-related programs.

PACT (2018-2019)
The PACT Program teaches Students of Color design thinking concepts to explore multiple life paths, The program also encourages the development of critical skills within an emotionally supportive environment to enhance the students’ overall academic career. The intent is to create an environment where students can form a pact based on community and accountability with the desire to maximize each other’s full potential.

Pre-American Medical Student Association (AMSA; 2018)
Calling all Premedical Scholars … this is the program that will give you a leg up once in med school. Participants will take their first steps toward becoming transformative physicians, thinking beyond overt symptoms and moving into the social mission and public health context of medicine. This program addresses issues at the forefront of medicine today and provides the opportunity to listen and talk with acclaimed healthcare experts, network with fellow premeds around the world, and complete a meaningful community project.

Promoting Animal Awareness Through Service (PAWS; 2018-2019)
P.A.W.S. aims to raise awareness of the injustices of animal cruelty. Our members must be committed to bringing forth the issues of animal welfare and spreading this idea to the rest of our USF community. We also work to rescue animals from abuse and share our resources with local bay area shelters.

Psi-Chi (2021-2022)
Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. Students apply to become members of the largest student organization on psychology. Our Psi Chi chapter has won multiple awards for papers presented at the Western Psychological Association’s annual conference.

Residence Hall Council (RHC; 2018-2020)
RHC is an active presence on campus that aims to serve as a voice for residents. The organization accomplishes this by providing leadership opportunities within residence halls, planning and executing Programs that seek to provide a positive on-campus living experience, and serving as a liaison between students and other campus entities.

Rifle Club (2018-2019)
The USF Air Rifle Club is a recreational club on campus that involves complete control over mind and body, with practiced concentration and precision. The Air Rifle Club focuses on Olympic-style air rifle shooting, which consists of hitting a target from a distance of 10 yards, from three different body positions. The bullseye is 3/4 the size of a printed period! They are proud to compete both locally and internationally through official online events. Interested students are invited to come try this growing sport!

Rotaract (2018-2019)
Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and ourselves. The club was discontinued due to a low member count.

Tri-Beta (2018)
 Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society is a society for students, particularly for undergraduates. It seeks to encourage scholarly attainment in this field of learning by reserving its regular membership for those who achieve superior academic records and who indicate special aptitude for and major interest in the life sciences. It desires to cultivate intellectual interest in the natural sciences and to promote a better appreciation of the value of biological study and thus welcomes into associate membership all those students who are interested in biology. Beta Beta Beta also endeavors to extend the boundaries of man’s knowledge of nature by encouraging new discoveries through scientific investigation and to this end encourages undergraduate students to begin research work and report their findings in the journal of the society, BIOS. TriBeta emphasizes, therefore, a three-fold program: stimulation of scholarship, dissemination of scientific knowledge, and promotion of biological research.

St. Ignatius Parish is a Jesuit parish grounded in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Together, we travel a faith journey of devotion, prayer, inquiry, and holiness. We seek to find God in all things by deepening our faith and listening with discerning and joyful hearts. We walk with the excluded and care for the Earth, our common home, by actively serving the poor and living with social and environmental justice.

United Students for Veterans Health (USVH; 2020-2021)
The mission of United Students for Veterans’ Health (USVH) is to aid in caring for and enriching the lives of veterans all across the nation. Our most cherished goal is fostering friendships between patients and students. In these relationships, our volunteers give back to those who gave so much.
We strive to create a world in which students actively engage with and learn from the significant life experiences of veterans and veterans benefit from the joy and enthusiasm of student volunteers.
Our plan for the future of USVH is to bring our program to every university with a nearby VA hospital. If you know an academic organization that needs USVH’s program, we would love to work with you to continue expanding our ever-growing national organization.
